Two and half years in and I am going pro. Here’s the why and what you can expect.

I started this blog in November of 2014 without knowing much about what I was doing. All I knew was that I had a message and blogging seemed like the best way to let it out.

Early on after starting my blog I saw minor success. Due to ranking high with several articles I was able to start making commissions on a few products I talked about.

I remember the first time I made $40 from one sale. The feeling was one of joy and fear.

Fear of not feeling like I had earned the $40.

Joy because I saw this online thing could work.

The version of myself back then had low self worth. To him getting paid just for talking about something that had helped him didn’t seem like it deserved money.

Without thinking much about making money from this blog I continued to put out content without a money plan.

I made monthly income from affiliate products but outside of that my income was 90% from offline activities.

Don’t get me wrong I wanted to put out a product but I still couldn’t accept that I could put words into a PDF and then sell it.

Then around December of 2016 I read something about how you are actually being greedy by not putting out a product.

Essentially a product is a solution. You help your audience with your content and then they buy a solution from you in the form of a product.

This product is a piece of you and gives them a specific solution.

I have helped dozens of people behind the scenes without looking for money. To me helping other young guys get offline ventures going and gaining confidence is just something that I like to do.

Then I was asked…

Why I didn’t just condense my knowledge into an easy to read book and sell it. That was around mid February of this year.

Instead of working with people one by one I could create a book and then help thousands of people without ever meeting them. They would be buying my knowledge and then using it to better themselves.

At that point I realized the importance of creating a product for Calm and Collected.

I began writing up Think and Go Hustle. My goal was to release it in June but I ended up taking more time to perfect it.

The total length ended up being over 140 pages. My issue was that I wanted it to be a book that you could read quickly and get the fundamentals.

Most people are drowned out in “how to make money” articles but there isn’t much about the behind the scenes stuff.

To make a long story short I cut it down to 63 pages. Think and Go Hustle is filled with my personal stories along with action steps for you to take.

Since last year I’ve been on my own hustling. I started with nothing and have at this point built a decent income offline.

I started out thinking leaving my job would change everything. While it did, it wasn’t at all what I expected.

Instead, I had to survive on a day to day basis. I went through a period where I would be completely broke if I bought a gallon of water.

Then through hustling, I started making more in a week than I had in two weeks when I worked at the car dealership.

Most people are scared to talk about their hard times but I enjoy it. By me telling you about my hard times you can see me continue to rise.

This will either motivate you to charge into the unknown or motivate you to follow the script society has sold you.

So why the sudden change?

Because I have an obligation to go pro. I’ve met quite a few of you offline and the effects my story have on you motivate me more than you know.

I can’t treat this like a hobby anymore. It’s easy for me to continue living my life and just writing about it.

But at the end of the day that will only help people get so far.

If I’m going to do this the way I want to then I must go all the way in. That is the only way I ever get things done.

Businesses give solutions to people while hobbies only entertain.

I have to treat this blog like a business.

Putting things into perspective

Something that really put things into perspective for me was a recent post from Ed Latimore. He said that in 1/9/2017 that he would be going pro.

Fast-forward to today and he has reached that goal. Hitting that goal means that he is helping more people than he was before.

That means the more copies of Think and Go Hustle that are sold equals more people being helped.

Just writing those words makes me envision all of the fellow young guys finally getting things they want. Finally realizing that what they want is actually achievable.

(Update: Here’s what Think and Go Hustle is all about.)

Read the intro and first level. I almost cried.. the level of authenticity and the lessons you share in an easy to understand way are incredibly relatable. Can’t wait to get through the rest of the book this week. Continue to walk on water my friend. Really have something with this book. I mean it.

When I first started all I knew was that I wanted the lifestyle that I live now. It seemed so distant yet here I am doing it every day.

I want you to feel the same way that I do. Waking up in the morning knowing that you can go on a road trip or dive deep into some work.

The simple fact is that you don’t have to be rich to live the life that you want. Since leaving my job I haven’t made over $4,000 in a month yet I live how I want.

What does this mean for you?

This means that I will be building this blog how I want to. I will be meeting more of you in person and helping you more directly.

As you know I like to be upfront and honest so here’s what we’re looking at.

The first book that will drop is Think and Go Hustle. In this book, you will get the behind the scenes stuff with hustling that people don’t talk about.

(Grab Think and Go Hustle here)

You will also get your own roadmap to getting started. I’ve also added in a bonus section which you will find out about later.

Then I will work on Godlike Confidence. In this book, you will learn how to build real self-confidence. The type of confidence that isn’t built on wearing a $2,000 suit but from within.

From there I will be holding events around the country. I’ve already done two and it was a blast.

The next event will be held in Miami. From there we will figure out our next steps.

When the time is right though I will let people on the Young Hustler Newsletter know.

What now?

For the time being continue to be a part of the momentum that is building. Sharing my articles and videos with your friends helps more than you know.

If you get something from one of my articles don’t be shy to leave a comment and share it.

As for the release date for Think and Go Hustle I plan on putting it out this month. This may change but I will keep you posted.

Think and Go Hustle is now available in two formats:

Tune in next time for some more…
