Why You Don’t Have to Have Everything Figured Out at Once (And What to Do Instead)
I’ve been running a million miles a minute since January.
Lecture after lecture. Calls with clients and students, one to two times a day 7 days a week. Meetings. Getting connected with the elite class here in Georgia. Family and business expansion.
Dropping 2 audio lessons a day to my campuses, all while posting content on X, YouTube, and Instagram. Launching Substack. Writing up emails. Expanding our team, hiring new staff. Having a few existential crises. Fixing my gut. Training relatively consistently 3 to 5 times a week, but to be honest, not as intensely as I could be.
I’m telling you all this to tell you one thing…

You don’t have to have everything figured out all at once.
Every big breakthrough in my business and in my life has always been a series of decisions made over time. And all you have to do is stick to the plan.
- There are many days where I feel mentally scattered into 1,000 different directions. But I remind myself to just pick the direction and take action.
- There are days I feel burned out. So I focus on hydration, eating some good food, spending time with loved ones, and sticking to the plan.
I don’t know where you are in your own personal journey. But I wanted to send you this email to remind you that everything is working out exactly as it should.
And maybe you’ve taken your foot off the gas a little bit. If that’s the case, it’s time to get back in the game. And win at levels you’ve never done before.
Or maybe you’re like me. You’ve been progressing, but at times feel like you’re go go go go go.
Take some time to sit down with a journal and a pen, even though you hate it. At least I know I do. Force your mind to sit down and write out and process the thoughts that you have.
Ask yourself: what’s been bothering me? What needs to get done? What are my most important objectives?
There are going to be days where all you can think about is “let’s just get through the day.” Then there are going to be days when you wake up so excited that you could barely sleep.
Life is not about perfection. It’s about action and evolution.
Always the best,
Dylan Madden
