1) How to Get Clients if You Don’t Have any Experience?

I get this question all the time. And the most simple and direct answer is, well, you’ve got to get experience, you’ve got to have results. Why should I pay you if you don’t have any experience? Show me some testimonials, show me some results.

I covered this extensively inside of the Freelancer Profit Manual.

You need to figure this out quickly. Start with, here’s a list of 3 guys I’d like to work with. Reach out to them and help them for free, or even better be a little proactive. Notice where you can help them with your specific skills that you want to monetize.

Whether you’re doing graphic design, email marketing, writing blog posts, social media management. Whatever it is that you’re offering, offer to work for free. Give them something in your first DM regardless of what they tell you.

Say I think this will be phenomenal. Let me know, give me some feedback. I’m new to Twitter and would love to help you.

They will more than likely accept it and give you an opportunity. Now you’ve got experience and if you’re good, you will get a nice testimonial. Possibly your first client. It’s really that simple.

2) Best Tips for Focusing?

Focusing comes down to knowing what you want and then sitting your ass down in a chair and doing it. That’s literally all you need to do.

Yes, you can take supplements, yes, you can do different types of mindset hacks, yes, you can do all these crazy things. But at the end of the day, you cannot avoid the work. You cannot avoid it, eventually, you’re going to have to either accept defeat, or you need to sit your ass down and do the work.

If you’re inside of the exclusive newsletter, use the Script Creator I sent you.

The power of the Script comes from the fact that you go through your day, basically, as a robot going through the motions, other people have set for you.

With your own Script?

Now all of a sudden you are living the life that you actually want with direction. So just make a plan, know what you want. And then sit your ass down and do it and you will notice, oh my gosh, now all of a sudden I can focus.

Simple.

3) What is the Best Skill to Offer?

That is a stupid question. And I get this all of the time. But I’ll give you some advice. The best freelancing skill to have is any skill that you can actually get results with. I don’t care if it’s graphic design, I don’t care if it’s email marketing, I don’t care if it’s copywriting.

I don’t even care if it’s making fucking resumes, because I’ve got someone inside the Freelancer Profit Manual who does quite well with that.

As long as you can get a result that is the best skill for you to have. It doesn’t matter. Literally, anything else does not matter. Can you get as a result for your client? If yes, fucking fantastic. There’s your skill.

4) How do I Get Into Your Mentorship Program?

So I’m not going to go too deeply into this because this isn’t what MoneyBag Radio is about. Let’s cover it quickly. I open up a certain amount of slots every few months. And if you want to get in, reach out to me, and I will send you an application if I think you’re a good fit.

From there I will schedule a phone call with you and we can talk more. It is a 4-month commitment from you and it isn’t cheap. I deny most people because most people are not qualified.

You can take a look here and read about the success people have within it.

5) How do You Stick to a Plan When Your Mind Wants to Quit?

You either really want something and you’ll do whatever it takes to reach that. And whether you’ve got doubt in your mind, whether you’re you’ve got a lot of insecurities, whether you’re denied. Whatever it is, if you actually want it, you’re not going to give up. If you don’t want it, you’re gonna give up.

Get honest with yourself and be like, okay…

“Dylan, do you actually want this”

You can fill in your gut if you actually want. If you do, and say okay, fuck the doubt, fuck all this insecurity, I’m just gonna go and get it.

It’s really that simple.

6) When You Take a Big L and Lose money, How do You Bounce Back?

You take that energy from taking a huge L and you channel it. You harness it into whatever it is that you want to do next, if you don’t give up, you’re never going to like actually be defeated.

Take the energy from it and l put it into your momentum of Okay, I’m going to wake up even earlier, I’m going to work even harder.

I’m not going to do whatever I missed up on anymore. I’m going to stick to the plan. And that’s really all you have to do.

7) At What Point do You Start Dropping Your Lowest Paying Clients?

Okay, so this really depends on the context of your situation. The easy best way to do this is to keep a report so that you have a general idea of how much value you actually bring to the table.

Let’s say and I don’t know the context of your specific skill set. But let’s say that whatever you’re doing for them brings over 20 to 30% of their monthly revenue.

Well, it would make sense for them to pay you more if you got to that point where you say, okay, listen, whenever we get started, here’s how much you were making from this, here’s where we’re at now. I’m only asking for XYZ, I really, really enjoy working together.

So I just want to put that out there. But with all the different work I’ve got going on right now, it just doesn’t really make sense.

But I like I said, I really like you, we’ve been together for XYZ time, and so blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

Now, if you’re the freelancer group, just reach out to me for your context specific situation. But that’s what you need to do, just keep reports to have an idea of how much value you actually bring to the table.

Because if you don’t know how much value you bring to the table, what might happen is you reach out to them, and try to make a little bit more money, even if just an extra $500. And you’re gonna realize that you aren’t actually that valuable, instead, they just replace you.

So be careful. Be mindful, be aware of your position on the board.

A guy within the Freelancer Profit Manual was making $1,500 a month and he reached out to his client and got a too big of a head too quickly.

“Well I’m getting 1,500 a month making all this money for them, I’m gonna reach out to them and try to get some more money.”

He didn’t keep any reports of the results he’d gotten them. He committed one of the 7 Deadly Sins of a Young Hustler. He was led by greed and arrogance.

I was like, why did you reach out to them like that you should have led with a little bit more finesse. Showed the value and numbers like, like okay, here’s how much value I’m actually bringing to the table.

To make a long story short, they replaced him and he lost to his one and only client. Since then, he’s learned from his mistake. He’s moved forward and is doing quite well. Last I checked he is earning around 4k to 5k a month, which is fantastic.

But you need to understand how much value you’re actually (not what you think) you are bringing to the table. And if you’re bringing a good amount of value, for sure, reach out and get some more money if you’re at that point.

8) Best Way to Find Clients While Traveling.

You asked this question on Twitter, so you should leverage your Twitter. Social media has given us all an incredible way to generate money. You need to be showcasing what skills you have in your bio and in some of your tweets.

Show you are actually valuable.

Next you need to be reaching out to people daily. You literally have unlimited access to so many people, you’re a DM away from $1k-$7k a month. So whether you’re on Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, whatever, just leverage that platform and get in front of the right people. That’s literally all you have to do. And that’s what I’ve been doing that for most of my career.

Over the last few years, I leveraged Twitter to connect with everybody from Ed Latimore to a bunch of other names.

Just show that you are valuable. Show that you actually know what you’re talking about and help me understand how you can make me more money. Anyone will be happy to pay you if you can answer this.

Okay, so that concludes today’s questions. Now let’s talk about the New World Order. I’m coming to you with actionable and valuable content on everything from freelancing, making money online, traveling, conspiracies, mindset.
