How to Speak Your Mind and Get What You Want

A friend and you are out having a good night. You notice this cute girl and visualize sweeping her off her feet. In your head she instantly falls for you and you take her home and have a great night.
But then as you walk by her, you say nothing. You keep going and then totally forget about that visualization.
You have similar situations occur daily. From cute girls to being your true self around other people. To you it isn’t anything. You think that it is perfectly normal to just keep everything in your head.
I mean you’re happy aren’t you?
You’ve got money that covers your bills every month. You may even have a girlfriend that gives you sex and other things that only females can give you. But is that all that you really want?
Of course it isn’t. You want to cover your bills and still have plenty of money to enjoy. You want to be able to travel and buy the things that you want without even thinking about it.
Not only that, but you want a girl that’s into you. You want a girl that begs for your attention. Your current girlfriend tells you she loves you. But often times you find yourself doing more for her than she does for you.
Why do you put up with that? In your head you’ve seen millions of scenarios where you get exactly what you want. You know what you want, yet you keep allowing your life to stay the same.
You have this feeling of being able to have so much more. It is that faint feeling deep within yourself you feel from time to time. Most days you hardly notice it and just go about your day like you always do.
But then late at night when you’re alone that feeling comes out. Sometimes that feeling comes out as anger. Other times it comes out as depression and you feel as if you’d rather just disappear.
Every once in a while this feeling turns into disgust. The disgust makes you realize your life is in your hands. You write down your plan and see clearly how you will get your life how you want it to be.
You create a routine that ensures that you are efficient and get things done. From there you create a diet and workout plan that will get you in shape.
You tell yourself this is it. This is the moment you will finally start getting what you want in life. You will finally live the life that you’ve visualized millions of times.
You wake up the next day and follow your plan. This is the first day of your new life and you feel on top of the world. By day two some of that motivation isn’t there, but you still follow your plan.
Day five comes along and you deviate from your plan so that you can hang with your friends. While y’all are out you don’t follow your diet or your daily routine.
Before you know it, months have gone by. You are back in your old life doing the same things you’ve always done. In your head you are following your plan but your actions are the complete opposite.
That feeling deep within you stays with you. For some people it turns into addictions such as porn, drugs, or neediness.
For others it just follows them like a shadow. Religious people think it’s the Devil or that the life they want isn’t “God’s will”. But most of the time they surrender to the idea that others just have something they don’t.
God and everything else you can think of isn’t preventing you from getting what you want. It is you choosing to keep everything in your head and not letting it out.
You can spend your life living in your head while the people that just “have it” live the life that you want. Or better yet you can decide that you are done living in the shadows.
You can come out of the darkness and demand what you want. You can speak your mind and then watch as your life comes together exactly how you visualized it for so many years.
The solution isn’t something esoteric. You don’t have to sell your soul or chant affirmations every few minutes. This is something that has always been there and always will be.
It isn’t going to be taken away if you use it. Using it isn’t some crime or sin. In reality if you use it, life is better for you and the people around you.
The solution to getting everything you want is to speak your mind. I told you it wasn’t anything special. I told you that nobody could take it from you.
You are going to start speaking your mind. As you speak your mind, your life will magically become what you only dreamed of before. You will be more confident, have more money, and be a magnet for what you want.
The things you held in your head will start coming to you without much effort. You’ll walk around with power in your eyes. People will get out of your way and girls will let you have your way.
Don’t overthink this solution. It is simple and doesn’t take much thought. I’ll put out another article soon that will go into detail on ending overthinking.
For the time being follow this exercise daily. Forget about the routines you’ve created a million times. Just focus on speaking your mind and your life will come together as it should.
Everyday you are going to speak your mind at least once. If you are out and see a girl, you are going to approach her. If you feel an urge to shout in public, you are going to shout loud and proud.
That’s all you need to do for now. Do that exercise daily and then when you’re ready the article on how to stop overthinking will come out.
Tune in next time for some more…
REAL DEALIN’ With The Real Dylan
I think everything said was very reasonable. But, think on this, what if
you added a little information? I am not suggesting
your information is not good, but what if you added something
to possibly grab a person’s attention? I mean How to Speak Your Mind and Get What You
Want – Calm and Collected is a little plain. You might peek at Yahoo’s home page and see how they
create article headlines to grab people interested. You might try adding a video or a related pic or two to grab people excited about
everything’ve got to say. Just my opinion, it could bring
your blog a little bit more interesting.
Action is the number one thing for all achievement. I’m appreciate you commenting.
I’ll be doing a video on this concept soon.
You seem to imply speaking is only talking. As I read this I decided to think of speaking as acting also. We all visualize what we want and what we need to do to achieve that, but we don’t act on it.
Great article, glad I found this blog.
Thank you Tim.
Dylan great article. This spoke to me in so many ways. Especially the beginning I felt like you were describing me. keep up the work!
