Conversations with the Devil
As I sit here under the candle light I think of the past and of how far I have come….
I used to be like everyone else in the sense that I didn’t know what I wanted to do. At that point I didn’t believe in myself and didn’t know what I was capable of.
From the time I first came to earth I was put down by all of those around me.
Around every corner I seemed to be blocked from passing. At times I felt like there was something holding me back from getting what I wanted.
This constant struggle was good though because it turned me into the man who I am today.
I decided to face my fears and leave everything else behind. That meant giving up everything that I had known to that point. The decision was hard, but one that I knew I had to make. I had this great fear of what was on the other side.
Fears like….
Would I lose myself?
Would I starve?
Would I not live up to the vision that I had?
But you know those fears are useless to me now. I decided to step on the other side of fear into that dark place known as the Unknown. Most people get lost in the fear of the unknown. They will lose themselves and never be able to return to their life.
I have nearly lost myself plenty of times, but am able to come back each time.
You have heard that having a mission is important and it is, but you must also have something more.
Not only will the drive to complete your mission get you there, but also your self-belief. With your self-belief you can create your life instead of just falling to its knees.
My friend I have always had a vision of what I wanted my life to be like and how I wanted to be remembered.
It wasn’t until the day that I killed my ego and no longer recognized it as myself that I started being in the moment and moving forward with my true self.
Since I had no ego I was able to enjoy this world much easier and see many more opportunities than I had before.
The ego is something that you think serves you, but instead only acts on its behalf. Your ego thinks it is protecting you from danger while all the while it is slowing killing you.
So I say today my friend begin at once to kill your ego and walk through life with no filter.
Since I have killed my ego I was able to walk around as King instead of as a peasant. You see the King is that person that stands above all others and comes from a place of authority.
He does not let the opinion of a peasant or as they are known to me a cockroach to get in his way. A King goes forward bending the world to his will.
He realizes that he is the axial on which the entire world spins. It is his reality that is real to him.
Now that you know how I was able to make it to the other side of the Unknown let me show you what I have now.
I now enjoy life doing the things that I want too. My life consists of doing what I desire and not worrying about that faulty program called the ego.
I have all of the things that I want at this current moment. As I speak what I say seems to slowly manifest into my life.
I said that I was going to move to Asia this year and now I am making plans to move to Indonesia.
I said that I wanted to be able to enjoy building businesses from my laptop on an exotic beach. Now it is within my grasp.
I said that I wanted to explore the world with my friend while manifesting this vision in my mind and you know what? I will have it in several months.
My friend it is all a mind game. Once you realize that the real challenge isn’t the flesh or anything physical you will see a quantum leap of improvement through your life.
To achieve greatness you must not let anything stand in your way. You will have to fully immerse yourself into the Unknown and be able to come out on the other side alive.
As I said most people don’t make it. They will die of mediocrity and will never know what they could have done.
I refuse to let anything keep me from achieving my ends. You have two choices in this world and must choose one.
You can either be an Young Hustler or a Cockroach. It really is that simple. You will go forth into the world and make it how you wish.
You will kick-ass and influence great events. You will be with the woman who you want to be with.
You will make as much or as little money as you wish. You will wake up everyday and jump out of bed filled with great excitement of what you will do that day.
As a cockroach you will be cursed to scavenge around the bottom of the earth all your days. You will never get even a glimpse of what you could have had.
Your life will be miserable and you will always live in the land of regret. The question that will run through your head on a daily basis will be, “What if”.
What if I would have started that business?
What if I would have kept control of my relationship?
What if I would have gotten that job?
What if I would have not let all of those opinions hold me back?
Living with regret is something that I would not wish on any of my enemies. You see regret is something that will hold you down and prevent you from being happy with the current moment.
You must live everyday the way that you wish and not let anyone keep you from what you want. You can live a lie for years, but one day that lie shall come to light. Which end do you want to be on? Living in the truth or a lie.
Conversations with the Devil is an article that makes you really think about your life.
You must decide what it is that you want from this world. You must throw yourself into the Unknown and come out on the other side victorious.
Remember in a previous post when I said that your words carry great power? You must realize that what you speak will come into your experience.
You can speak of the things that you want or of the things that you don’t want. It is you who decides the course of your life.
Your parents, teacher, or God do not keep you from what you want in life. It is you who keeps what you desire constantly running away from you.
If you allow self-doubt or any negative emotion into your mind then you are giving away your power.
When you speak something you need to expect that it will return to you what you want.
Do not let the Devil of your mind keep you held down in the bondage of mediocrity.
When I want something I make plans and then execute that plan. I speak it into existence by affirming that it is already mine. Does that mean that doubts don’t creep into my mind from time to time?
No not at all. I am human just like you. I have my bad days where I feel like I am a loser. On certain days I even question my vision and why I do what I do, but what separates me from the masses is my mindset.
The mindset that I carry around is that of abundance. My mindset is that I can do everything that I want. I am able to bounce back within a day or so because of this truth that I hold. I know where I want to go and what I want.
Most people will just kneel before any challenge or the first sign of failure. But not you. You have found this blog because you are not like all of the other cockroaches that scatter around this earth.
You are destined for greatness.
You can do anything that you want.
You can have all that you desire.
There is nothing that can stand against you.
Are you going to keep living a lie or embrace the truth?
Until next time Go and Dominate Your Life.
Your friend,
Dylan Madden
Great commend AD Ziemann. I am glad you realized that truth. Also, I am happy my content resonated with you. Expect more to come.
Fear, it’s a funny little thing. You can let it guide you as a weakness or a strength. Most people want to avoid the fear but it’s stepping into that let’s you know you are doing something right. What would be the purpose of doing something if there was no fear. Playing it safe only got people where they deserved to be in life, the middle or the bottom.
I’d rather take the fear and know I’m living the life I want. Perhaps you fail but at least you took the chance where most men cowered and turned the other way.
Keep up the good work, really interested in where you take this all.
No problem brother I really liked the article so it was something that I had to do. I am glad that you can feel the raw power from my words. Whenever you write directly from the heart with no ego you can put out great emotion in your words.
In response to the Unknown being your fear I have to say that it is the one things that pushes me everyday. We all direct our life so we need to take advantage of this present moment to further our ends. There will be a day when we are on our death bed and the last thing that you want to have on your mind is, “What if.”
You are a step ahead of the game and I can see a very bright future for you brother.
Your friend,
Sergie
Thank you Conner that means a lot. Great point by the way. If it weren’t for the people that go into the unknown then we wouldn’t be able to enjoy the things that we now enjoy. We as a race will get even better by following our duty of going into the unknown.
Great comment Chase good to hear from you. I will make sure to post about my travels in Asia.
Thank you for featuring my work, Sergie! Love this post of yours, I can almost feel the force of your words through the screen.
“As a cockroach you will be cursed to scavenge around the bottom of the earth all your days. You will never get even a glimpse of what you could have had. Your life will be miserable and you will always live in the land of regret. The question that will run through your head on a daily basis will be, “What if”.”
This is my fear. This is what terrifies me, more than death, more even than the Unknown. It is the dog biting at my heels as a run ever onwards.
My favorite article. Period.
The unknown can be extremely scary…But I feel it’s our duty as a human to step into it. If it helps us grow, or the human race, then it’s worth while.
Loved the post Serg.
This was a good post. Self belief is a step beyond confidence. I call it faith, and it is very important. You have to believe you can do itnor it wont happen. Same thing applies when I lift heavy weights. If i dont believe that it will move them it wont move.
Good stuff my friend, cant wait to hear about your jouenys in Asia.
