3 Survival Tips for the Optimist

Being an optimist in today’s world is great. However, don’t live in a bubble. Let’s go over 3 Survival Tips for the Optimist. So you can survive and thrive in a recession and end of the world type of event.

3 Survival Tips for the Optimist

Most people see the crazy stuff going on around the world and they get emotional.

  • They’ll quote scripture.
  • They’ll claim the world is ending.
  • They’ll go down rabbit holes of conspiracy theories.

However, this line of thinking does nothing for you except give you an interesting conversation. Meaning it does nothing. The only thing you should think when you see what is happening in the world is.

  1. How can I protect myself?
  2. What can I do to ride this out?
  3. Do I have the skills to earn a living outside of the regular world?

Understand, making money online and living your dream life isn’t just a cool flex anymore. Those days ended 2 years ago. It is now a necessity.

So when you see people getting stressed out?

You need to think, What can I do to protect myself and the people I care about to the best of my ability? I’m not saying you can make yourself untouchable. Even a king with guards and walls can be reached.

What I am saying is you need to at least make a plan for yourself and get some stuff setup. Regardless of your circumstances, you can give yourself a huge survival advantage.

3 Steps to Protect Yourself in the End of the World

1) Become Skilled

You need to be obsessed with getting a high paying skill you can offer via social media/the internet. Once again it isn’t about flexing. It is a necessity.

Social media and the internet is a global source of clients you can tap into to monetize your skill. For me specifically, I recommend email copywriting. If you want to know more about that click here.

2) Gather a surplus of supplies

Go to the store and get extra of everything. I don’t care if it’s only a little bit week by week. Whatever fits your budget. Your goal is to have 6 to 12 months of extra supplies. At minimum 3 months.

Example of supplies to gather:

Water, canned food such as tuna, protein powder, medicine, toothpaste, virgin oil, toilet paper, soap.

3) Residency in another country

Chances are your home country will possibly become harder to live. In case it does, have a residency elsewhere and plan on being able to leave.

This is something that’s fairly easy to get it if you know the right people. You can also just Google to find countries and their process. I’d avoid Asia personally for this. Instead look at Eastern Europe and South America.

Sure – maybe at some point no matter where you go it could be bad. It isn’t about seeing the future.

This is all about giving yourself options.

I’ve already gotten residences for some of my family. I recommend doing the same for your loved ones after you get your own.

What if I can’t leave my country?

If you can’t leave the country either due to your current funds or at some future point travel isn’t possible? Easy, have a plan on what you can do inside your country. Maybe you’ve got a friend in another city or town.

Alternatively, you can go to the mountains or out to the country. Simply following the points we just spoke about you’re already ahead of 90% of the population.

Stop allowing yourself to get so emotional to the point where you react to everything they feed you. You are on this newsletter because you want to take control of your life. Now it’s time to get moving.

Allow everybody else to get emotional. While you make a plan and protect the people you care about.

Always the best,

Dylan Madden

PS: I understand there’s a chance none of this will be needed. I’m more of an optimist and know the world is getting better.

On the other hand I’m a realists and know most people get caught out in the open and just react.

Live life as if you’ll enjoy your life forever but plan as if you’ve only got a few months to make things happen.

If you’re looking to get a high paying skill, I’ve got 2 options to get you rolling based on your financial circumstances.
