For most of my early life, I was a slave. A Sleepwalker living in an illusion. Eventually, I decided to be free. Now I’m here to share with you 5 steps to being a free man among slaves and sleepwalkers.
I will warn you of one thing though. There is no turning back once you make the decision to be free.
After you make your decision, but still try to live a normal life. You will be worse off than you were before.
Because you’ll have the understanding while still trying to live in ignorance. This whole freedom thing is an either or path.
Either you go left to freedom.
Or right and continue living your life like nothing happened.
If you try to go straight you’ll go straight off of the cliff.
You’ll be like a free man who out of fear decides to stay in his cell. The door is unlocked and the fresh breeze of freedom is on the other side.
But if you’re ready to be free.
If you’re tired of living life on repeat. Always feeling like you’ve got the weight of the world on your shoulders.
Now is the time to leave everything in your cell and walk out the door. Freedom awaits you and it starts with these 5 steps…
1) Beholden to Nothing.
For many years I felt beholden and obligated to others. Whether that be to my parents or to going to church every Sunday.
I wanted to feel worthy of my father’s love. Both my father here on Earth and my father in Heaven.
This poured over into my relationships with people and my work.
It wasn’t until I became so lost that I finally looked for freedom. I found my freedom, not in someone or something else.
But with myself.
I understood that I have no obligation to anyone. I am free to live life, however, I choose to.
While this level of freedom cannot be achieved by most people. It is possible if you can’t stand to live another day like you have been.
Because once you would rather die than live another day. You will finally stop following the ways of the world and will find your own way.
I can’t tell you what your own way is. That is for you to find on your own. All that I can do is share with you what has worked for me.
And the biggest thing that helped in finding my freedom was getting permission. Not from God or another person.
It was me giving myself permission that things changed. Give yourself permission to live and be free.
2) You’ve Got to Rise Up and Become the Master.
Nobody has your best interest in mind. Yes, family and friends care about you. But they are looking out for themselves at the end of the day.
That is why you should never depend on anyone. Especially your best friend. Because the only person who can help you rise out of any hardship is yourself.
And you’ll never do this as long as you rely on something outside of yourself. You must study like a student and live as a master.
To become your own master is the biggest part of becoming free.
The moment that you…
3) Recognize the Man in the Mirror.
Is the moment that you will gaze upon the savior you’ve been seeking. As a kid, you looked up to Superman or Batman.
You saw them as perfect and strong. And so naturally you dressed up like them for Halloween and watched their shows.
But that is childs play.
Now it is time for you to recognize the man in the mirror. Go to the mirror and look deeply into your eyes.
Feel the regret. Accept it fully. And understand that you are the savior and Devil. The reason your life is how it is now is that you’ve lived for someone else.
It is by accepting full responsibility for your life that you’ll have a fighting chance. All of your flaws and strengths are now tools for you to use.
Because you are more than your bank account or the man in the mirror.
The person that you see in the mirror everyday is only a part of you. It is your ego aka the character in which you navigate through life with.
Your true self is the Awareness behind the character.
You can’t be shamed or harmed by the strongest weapon on Earth. Once you see that you are more than your ego. It’s time to enlarge it.
Form your character into whatever you want or need. Become strong if you’re weak. Become rich if you’re broke.
Become your true self finally instead of living as a facade.
5) Find a Tribe.
Living as your true self you will separate you from reality. With each passing day you’ll feel less and less connected to your old life.
You’ll find yourself wondering how you ever lived like that. How silly your worries were. And you solve this problem by finding a tribe.
A tribe full of like-minded people with a similar vision. This tribe will be one that you can learn from while also leveling up your own life.
Because as you’ve realized this world is in need of a connection. People fill their void with endless entertainment.
As your own Master though you will begin seeing reality for what it is. If you are ready to find your tribe I welcome you to the Young Hustlers.
We’re tight-knit and loyal. If you aren’t seeking a brotherhood then the Young Hustlers will not be a good fit.
