Why Adderall sucks compared to Kratom

kratom

With all of the projects that I have going on and life in general I needed something natural that I could take that would give me that extra edge. I have tried everything from Modafinil to Adderall.

The only problem that I had with those were that they had some nasty effects. Also, there were many side-effects that were just not even worth the trade-off.

I took Adderall for 6 years and often times joked around by calling it, “My Immortal Pill”. The reason I called it that was because when I was off of it I felt:

  • In a daze
  • Tired
  • No drive
  • Life in general was boring

So I began taking it 7 days a week so that I could keep that feeling of being “normal”. It wasn’t until the end of that 6 year period that I realized that I had allowed myself to become dependent on it and then realized what it had turned me into.

I stopped socializing with other people.

I had no sense of self or emotion.

I had pushed away many of the people who cared about me.

I decided to take myself off of it and never touched it again. Adderall can be a tool that can be used to benefit you, but you must keep in mind that it is only a tool. I am sure that there are countless people out there that Adderall has helped take them to other levels of life. As for me though I abused it and have found other methods of getting those same effects. Adderall is very potent, but what it does to you makes it not even worth the investment in buying it.

I have also tried Modafinil which I felt the effects of almost immediately. The only problem was that it caused me to have a major headache within the first 2 hours of taking it. I took Modafinil for two weeks and everyday that I took it the headaches would come. I ended up throwing away over $147 worth of Modafinil because it would be stupid to keep taking it after what it did to me.

Over the next few months after throwing away my Modafinil I decided to stop looking for something that would help me focus and give me that edge I was seeking.

It wasn’t until I was introduced to Chris and was able to talk to him about his results from using Kratom that I even considered taking something else.

I had never heard of Kratom before and decided to buy my first strain of Kratom. I read that it was important to buy up to 3 different strains that you could alternate between.

I purchased the following strains:

  • Hyper Hippo
  • 4 Winds Herbal

When I ordered it I believe it totaled to be around $49. Obviously for someone who is into things that can help with focus, clarity, and euphoria this is a small price to pay compared to most of the other products out there.

I have spent hundreds of dollars in the past on other products. Mainly so that I could experiment with them, but this is the best value for your money.

If you plan to buy all three you can save a few dollars and just buy the Starter pack for $44. Otherwise I would just recommend buying a few strains and see what you think.

The beauty of Kratom while also the bad side is that you have to find the strains that work best for you. Luckily for me I was able to find the right strains within my first few orders.

So to go back to my point if you are looking for something that will help with focus that is safe and natural then look into Kratom.

Oh also I forgot to mention Kratom has no severe side-effects. When I first got my order I was so excited that I tried 8 grams of it in one sitting.

VERY BAD DECISION.

I ended up getting dry mouth, started sweating, and then became slightly nauseated. My word of advice would be to buy a few strains and then follow what the directions say. I will be creating a Kratom guide soon that you can go to, but for now just follow this:

  • Do not take the same strain for several days in a row because you will build up a tolerance. This is why you should buy 3 different strains if you intend to use it daily like me.
  • Only take 3-5 grams to figure out what works best for you. Some people need to take 8 grams while others only have to take 3.
  • Please for the love of Mount Olympus either mix it with Milk (easiest way) or make it into a tea otherwise it will taste very bitter.

I hope you enjoyed this article on Kratom and look forward to more information on it coming out. There are plenty of articles out there about Kratom, but most of them are just hit or miss type of articles from phony people.

C&C has articles that you can refer to on Kratom so that you don’t have to waste your time searching for legit information.

Still considering buying Kratom check out the following:

  • Phenibut Is Also a Good Alternative to Adderall

I will receive a small commission if you buy any of the above recommended products.

  1. Adderall cannot be taken if an individual is suffering from
    glaucoma;
    overactive thyroid;
    severe anxiety or agitation (stimulant medicine can make these symptoms worse);
    high blood pressure;
    heart disease or coronary artery disease;
    vascular disease or hardening of the arteries; or
    a history of drug or alcohol addiction.

  2. The brand name for a combination drug of amphetamine and dextroamphetamine (frequently called blended amphetamine salts) is Adderall. Adderall is typically recommended to treat individuals with narcolepsy or Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). With its high potential for abuse and drug dependency Adderall has become the infamous illegal party drug used and abused by 1/4th of the secondary school going population.
    Adderall was primarily used for treatment of ADHD in 1996 and for narcolepsy in 1998. Adderall works by increasing levels of dopamine and norepinephrine in the mind.

  3. Do you have any suggestions on the process of switching from Adderall to Kratom? I have been on Adderall for…my God, over 9 years. I actually did not realize it had been that long until I started typing this. The only time I have been off adderall was when I was pregnant with my son(now 2yrs old). Other than that I only took breaks when I ran out because I took extra… Which is still almost every month. Many times in my younger years I’d run out 1-2 weeks early and my entire life would fall apart during that week. Nowadays I still run out early but usually only 3-5 days early. I take 50mg a day(it was always 60mg until recently). I take a 30mg adderall XR in the morning and a 20mg adderall IR around lunch time. Anyway, when I don’t have my adderall I am the absolute worst version of myself. My serotonin/dopamine levels drop so low because my body is so dependant on the stimulants. I because depressed to a point I can’t even put into words. I care about nothing. All I feel is depression, anger, pain and I get so bad I feel like I don’t want to be alive. The hold adderall has on me feels like it’s to a point of no return and I get hopeless about ever being off of it. So the question is, how to I make this switch? Can I wean off while I begin taking kratom? I also depend on adderall for my art. Without adderall I have no desire to exude my creativity and there is too much in my Artist brain to ignore. Shortly after starting adderall I started creating these dreamlike mixed media paintings/collages. I have over 300 paintings I’ve created(about half of them are sold). I do art every single day and losing that part of me is something I’m not ready for yet. Anyway, I just lost an hour writing this so hopefully you get back to me. Thank you and I’m so glad I found your article!

  4. I have had the same exact experience and have seen people take adderall and they become a different person. They feen so bad that there willing to pay 200 on a bottle and they take all 30 pills in one day all i can say is kratom has saved my life from depression and anxiety. Everyone I kno who takes adderall is anti social and just looks for more and more even kno they have a script it’s crazy! I myself have a script but have no desire to use it ever again same with Xanax. After suffering from 20 seizures I don’t touch the stuff have it all in my hours and I’ll even hold the bottle in my hand of each med just to kno I have control. It is the legal version of meth after using meth by accident. I do take klonapin and lexapro also Remeron. I feel like I would not need these meds if it wasent for taking adderall and taking molly at the age of 13. For anyone who needs focus go with white horned leaf kratom or any white kratom it has given me my life back thanks for this video

  5. I read this article like 3 months ago after having a similar experience like yours. I tried Kratom and boy does it work. I got my friend into it as well.

    This is random but anyone who reads this comment, Dylan is right about this! I like the starter pack. My fav is Hyper and Red Hippo.

  6. Your style is unique in comparison to other people I’ve read stuff from.
    Many thanks for posting when you have the opportunity,
    Guess I will just bookmark this page.

  7. Now its time for you to jump on to this magical herb the ‘kratom’ as early as possible before something goes wrong. Also consider what other commenters like me are suggesting. Hope you will recover soon from your previous drug addiction.

      • Addiction is actually a disease, that plagues a lot of people’s lives.

  8. Sergie,

    What a kickass post on Kratom! I admire you being open about your bad experiences with Adderall and and Modafinil. I had considered taking Modafinil since I spend so many hours on my blog and wanted something that would “keep me going”. I read about a lot of the side effects and decided not to. However, Kratom doesn’t sound too bad! I’m thinking of trying out that starter pack that you mentioned in the article.

    • Thank you Alex I am glad you liked the article. People want the truth and realness in today’s world of fakes so that is why I keep it real with WOTO.

      I’d recommend the starter-pack at first. You will like it.

      Let me know how the starter-pack goes.

      Regards,
      Sergie

  9. Wild post, man you sure went all in on the Adderall!
    I’ve tried Modafinil (without the headaches you suffered) and while my productivity went parabolic for the day, I felt very different after coming down off it. Even several weeks after one dose my sleeping patterns were erratic and my mind didn’t feel like it did prior to ingestion. Don’t know if I’m a wimp with that stuff or just have a sensitive reaction. Those drugs are powerful stuff, need to keep your guard up using them.

    • Yeah Adderall was great for the first few years of use, but after that it became a problem. I don’t think you’re a wimp I am sensitive to certain things as well. A associate of mine uses Modafinil and is completely fine. It really comes down to your chemistry.

      I really like the Red Hot Kratom strain. I use it when I need to focus on several projects that I am working on. Another aspect I like about it is that it causes euphoria for me. I only use 3 grams whenever I use it. Anything more causes me to be way too focused.

      Here is a link to Red Hot.

  10. Such a shame that Kratom is illegal here in Croatia. I will try it because people are talking so good things about it. Don’t care if it’s illegal.

    • Really that is crazy. It is probably easy to have imported to Croatia, just be careful. When I used Modafinil I had it sent from India. It took close to 3 months to receive it.

  11. Awesome! I always wanted to try kratom but thought it was out of my price range. Definitely will be trying it in the future and looking forward to your guide. All the same, you can never underestimate the value of a solid work environment when it comes to productivity. I’ve heard good thinks about the sativa strain of cannabis when it comes to energy and creativity, as opposed to the more common, dopey, indica. Hope that stuff becomes legal soon.

    • Luckily Kratom is pretty cheap now I really recommend it. Let me know when you are ready to try it and I will help you find the right strain. I have experimented with Sativa in the past and have noticed a slight energy boost as well as being more creative. I have replaced it with Kratom though since it is legal, good price, and doesn’t have the spacy feeling.
