I spent years doubting myself and even criticizing myself. Heck, I considered suicide several times.

It’s impossible to be a Young Hustler if you want everyone to like you. You must be true to yourself and the hustle.

Forget about anything other than your hustle. Be true to yourself and always trust yourself. It sounds simple but few actually do it.

Let me tell you a story

One day a man looked in the mirror. He saw looking back at him a man of great skill and charm.

He had been mentally tortured. In his eyes, he saw a man that had it all but needed permission.

Permission to live how he wanted. Permission to be himself. Permission to be alive.

For years he searched all around.

He tried his elders and even sex.

From there he went to God and the Devil himself.

None of them gave him the permission that he wanted. In his mind, if he got permission then he’d be able to live his life.

His mind was clouded by doubt and fear. He always wanted to figure out why he wasn’t happy.

On that day when he looked in the mirror it became clear. All he ever lacked was love for himself.

He was the source of his permission. Everything that he had and ever would have was in his hands.

From surviving being held at gun point to accomplishing his dreams, he made it all happen.

Here he was 22 years old. Looking out over beautiful Venice beach in Los Angeles, California.

The sun was in his eyes and a cool breeze brushed around him. A calm came over him. The doubt changed to certainty.

Deep within himself something switched on. He became hyper-aware of what he truly wanted.

In the past he had looked to other people for what he wanted. Now he reached within his very being for those things.

He gave himself….

Permission to make money on his terms.

Permission to show people who he really was.

Permission to go pro and make things happen.

He collected his thoughts in a calm manner. From within him joy and bliss replaced the uncertainty that was there before.

He walked back into his room and got to work.

Now that man is happy and fulfilled.

He makes money on his terms. No more sitting at a car dealership all day making pennies on the dollar.

People are amazed at what he does but he doesn’t get lost in that. He knows that all he has to do is keep moving forward.

There will be ups and downs.

Nothing and no one gets in his way. He moves quickly and efficiently.

When he asks for something he is direct. He doesn’t beat around the bush or put his tail between his legs.

What About You?

Imagine if you had something within you that would save someone’s life. All you had to do was act on it.

Let me tell you something. You do have something within you that can save someone’s life. Maybe it’s a business or how you carry yourself.

Stop being selfish. You have something to say and to give. You’re screwing over the people that want what you have.

Here’s what you can do. Not later or tomorrow, but right now.

Get out a piece of paper and a pen.

Write down the following:

• Who am I?
• How do I want to spend each day?
• What can I do now to make that happen?

Once you’ve finished it put the paper to the side. Now forget about what you put down and continue reading.

No Excuses

People told me I had anger issues and a learning disability. I could hardly read and write by second grade.

I never felt like I was a part of anything. I didn’t allow myself to get close to anyone because I didn’t want to lose them.
