3 Ways My Life Has Changed Since Charging Into The Unknown
Charging into the unknown was the best decision I have made. Here are 3 ways my life has changed and yours can as well.
Back in 4/9/2016 I began a journey that has changed my life completely. It all started when I couldn’t take the dead feeling deep within me while going to my 7-5 job.
Everyday that I went in was another day that I felt dead inside. I survived only because I would think about my blog and all that I was going to do in life.
This went on for over a year or two and then I finally made my decision.
I decided that I was going to quit my job and throw myself into the unknown. At the time I had a good girl and my life was progressing.
In the traditional sense my life before 4/9/2016 was a success. I had found the girl and with each job I made more money.
But that wasn’t the life that I wanted for myself.
I’d rather be living on the brink of losing everything than waste away 50 years of mindless consumption.
Many people are fine with going to a job then coming home to eat dinner in front of the TV. They live for the weekend and for the day they finally get to retire.
That is why on 4/9/2016 I left my job and haven’t looked back. Since then I’ve done Uber, Groundskeeping, and interned with Victor Pride.
As I write this I have spent the last week travelling around the Upstate. I have stayed with family and in a beautiful house with a pool.
I’m in Greenwood writing this while my family is just waking up and texting me about breakfast. I live in a different reality from most.
Sometimes I wish I could be normal because it seems so much easier. But the honest to God truth is that I was made for what I’m doing now.
I have a high-risk tolerance and enjoy having many challenges in front of me. What should scare me only empowers me.
Conventional life has never meant much to me from holidays to what you’re “supposed” to do.
That is why I spend my days living in a world that I create. I live on my terms and that is how it will stay.
My life has changed in many ways but I have limited it to 3 biggest things. Take inspiration from my story and then create your own.
1) I Answer To Myself Only
Since charging into the unknown I have only answered to myself. No boss or overseer. When you are on your own path, you learn to take care of yourself.
It will get lonely in the beginning but you must just keep pressing forward. Before long you will start linking up with other like-minded people.
To enjoy this world on your own terms you must learn to answer to yourself. A good place to start is New World Ronin.
2) I Have Become Unbreakable
Being in the unknown will do one of two things to you. One you will break and spend the rest of your life in chaos. Never amounting to anything.
Two you will become unbreakable. You will get used to taking risk and making moves. This will cause you to become unbreakable and nothing will be able to throw you off for long.
I got used to having to survive on my own. I learned to take full responsibility for myself which lead me to becoming unbreakable. The struggle is what makes you shine and you will shine when you become unbreakable.
3) I Stopped Overthinking
When I had a job I had plenty of time to overthink and not enough time to take action. Once I became free of a job, I had all of the time I needed for myself.
I learned that overthinking is a complete waste of time. It will cause you to go head over heels for many ideas instead of acting on one.
In my past life overthinking kept me from ever having peace of mind. Now that I live life on my terms, I only have time to act.
When you are without a job you never have true downtime. Even if you watch YouTube, you are thinking about your next move.
Charging into the unknown may sound scary but it really isn’t. For some it is just common sense and for others it comes from necessity.
Since charging into the unknown I have lived realities that I only dreamed of before.
I’m just starting to scratch the surface of what I am capable of. 2017 is the year that I will show you what is possible when you come to a complete decision.
The next phase starts tomorrow.
Tune in tomorrow for your next step towards living life on your terms.

Thank you Alex. Sometimes brief is all people need. Keep crushing it.
“I have a high-risk tolerance and enjoy having many challenges in front of me. What should scare me only empowers me”
I feel like this came out of my mouth. Everyday I wake up with a do or die mentality. Snooze button no longer exists, there is work to do. Everyday is exciting and has purpose and that tiny little bit of fear in the back of my mind…that serves as gasoline to stoke the fire.
Killer article brother, brief and empowering.
Great to see your comment. It is tough at times but you build a authentic life and relationship with others.
Bravo, great post. It’s tough being out of the norm.
Thank you Seftimor.
One of your best posts I have ever read. Keep it up man!
