When you’re first traveling abroad, there are a few things you need to know about. One is how to access your money when traveling abroad. The other is transportation.

Watch the video below for a full breakdown of what to do as a first time traveller.

Traveling abroad is both exciting and nerve racking. However, there’s nothing to worry about. I will tell you everything you need to know.

Make sure to subscribe to this channel for more exclusive content. Before arriving go ahead and download a taxi service.

AVOID taking a regular taxi as most screw over tourists.

Download Bolt here.

(You can use dylan20 to save 20% off first ride)

Step 1: Use your banking app to let them know you will be traveling. Once you are in the country you can access an ATM for cash. I recommend using bank ATM’s which you can find in most places.

Step 2: Get a SIM card once you reach the airport. DO NOT worry about getting minutes. Just get Data and use an app such as WhatsApp.

Step 3: Once you have Data you can call a UBER or Bolt.

Step 4: When it comes to where to stay your safest bet is always Airbnb. Hotels are fine, but the quality you get from Airbnb is top notch.

Plus you can have an entire apartment to yourself for the same price (if not cheaper than a hotel).

Download it to your phone so you can message your host directly.

5 years ago I sat there with a friend of mine at 2am. As the we looked up at the night sky I told him…

I’m not living like this anymore. I know there’s more to life than this.

Struggling to make money, procrastinating, and all this other bullshit. I am done. And to be honest I’m not sure what the fuck to do.

I’ve been doing various things online for people. Tried a few hustles. I just feel like I’m spinning my wheels and being swallowed by life.

Day by day things don’t seem to be improving much.

Even if it takes me 5-7 years I’m gonna figure out how life works, get my mind right, and achieve my freedom.

Well you’re reading this article from me 5 years later.

I’m in the beautiful country of Qatar. I’ve been here for almost a month and now I am figuring out where I will stay next.

  • Tbilisi, Georgia again?
  • Armenia?
  • Ukraine?
  • Istanbul?
  • Bali?

At this point I open Google Maps and pick a random country.

And with a few clicks of a button I will transfer money from my bank account to an airline. Then appear in another country within a few hours.

I’ll stay for as long as I want and then be onto my next country.

Now I’m only just beginning in this new reality.

I’ve been living it for 7-months as of now.

But this is the only way to live.

Doing what you want, whenever you want, and genuinely feeling happy with your day.

Where the “stress” of the day is:

  • Should I order steak or just go to a restaurant
  • The internet is slow, dang I have to go to a cafe
  • This Uber is taking ages

My life isn’t perfect, but I’m living the good life.

All it took was me deciding SOMETHING HAD to change.

5 years from now….

What will you be doing?

Will you be stuck in the same rut, worrying about the same things?

Or will you have taken action and made your life truly yours?

Let me know in the comment section.

Your friend,

Dylan Madden
