You always see the before and after picture with some program people are selling. In this article I will show you not only what I did, but what I am doing to get my results. This is how to lose weight and feel great.

How Hard Is It To Lose Weight

I used to ask that same question months ago.

After losing weight I would answer that it is easy.

But before I really tried to lose weight I would’ve said that it is hard.

People claim that losing weight is hard and requires extreme discipline.

You will also see people who have a terrible diet, yet take 5 different supplements.

Here is what I say:

  • Losing weight is easy and fun
  • Your diet is 100% more important than supplements

Why Did I Decide To Lose Weight

Of course I decided to lose weight so that I would feel great and look amazing.

But another reason was because of you.

Since my real name and picture is all over Calm and Collected and the internet, I have to look the part as much as I talk about it.

As a reader and viewer you get to see everything from the ground up.

You get to see me as I chisel my body.

By watching this transformation you will see that you can do it as well.

The Beginning Was Slow…

When I first started dieting and working out I didn’t really know what I was doing.

I’m not really the read a hundred article type, but I still found myself bouncing around.

I would go from meal plan to meal plan.

Workout to workout.

Of course I saw very slow results.

It wasn’t until I finally realized that my mistake, that I really went in.

I realized that while I was “always” dieting and working out, I lacked consistency.

In order to lose weight and feel great I would have to dedicate myself to what I was doing.

I’ve Always Had To Go All In

This is me in April of 2016. I had dropped from 240 to around 190.

With everything in my life, I’ve always had to go all in.

While most people things just seemed to fall into their lap, I always had to take constant action.

From school to losing weight, I was always the axis on which everything happened.

It is the same way with you.

Everything in your life up to this point has happened because of you.

From the bad to the good.

It was and always will be you.

If you want to lose weight and feel great you must go all in.

My Philosophy For Losing Weight

Over time I have created my own Philosophy for losing weight and feeling great.

Here it is:

  • Simple And Cost Effective
  • Great Tasting Food
  • Lifestyle Oriented 
  • Enhanced By Supplements

Those are the basics to my Philosophy when it comes to losing weight.

I don’t like anything to be complicated.

I hate complication of any kind.

I like balance and results.

But let me explain more about each point:

Simple And Cost Effective-

As I said I like things to be balanced and simple.

I don’t want to be eating 10 different kinds of food and spending $200 a week on food.

I want to spend $20-60 a week on my meals.

I also want my meals to be effective and simple.

If you are spending $200 a week on food then you are wasting your money.

I could understand if you are trying to reach bodybuilder status.

But if you are trying to lose weight then save your money.

You can easily spend $20-60 a week.

Great Tasting Food-

People think they have to eat crappy tasting food when dropping weight.

I call complete BS on that.

Life is meant to be amazing and full of flavor.

I am losing weight while eating great tasting food.

When I am making my meals I make it taste great.

(FUN FACT: Slap Some Spice On That Meat)

Lifestyle Oriented-

The place where you keep messing yourself up is you don’t make it lifestyle oriented.

When you are losing weight it is more of a lifestyle than just dropping weight.

If you don’t build your diet to fit your lifestyle then you will never get lasting results.

You can’t eat the way you have been and expect to stay looking great.

Even if you look great, you will end up fat again.

Build a diet that goes with your lifestyle so that you will get lasting results.

Enhanced By Supplements-

Supplements really do work, but you need to have a diet and workout routine in place to get real results.

I see so many people taking tons of supplements without having a good diet in place.

All supplements do is enhance your diet and workout.

Bad Diet + Great Supplement = Nothing

Good Diet + Great Supplement = Great Results

What Type Of Foods Can I Eat

You can eat whatever you like most

For me I really like fish, chicken, and steak.

I find myself eating more fish though.

To lose weight and feel great you will make this a lifestyle.

When eating you need to be in a calorie deficit.

The key is to get enough calories to maintain your body but stay in a burning phase.

Here is a basic list of foods that you can eat when losing weight:

  • Fresh Vegetables (Frozen Broccoli Is My Favorite)
  • Clean Meat (Flounder, Salmon, Chicken)
  • Eggs (Boiled, Over Easy, Egg Whites)
  • Oats (No Sugar Added)

You can mix and match from that list.

When losing weight you are trying to put great food into your body.

Remember to choose the foods that you like so that they fit your lifestyle.

What About Working Out

I follow the same Philosophy when it comes to working out.

I want it to be simple and effective.

I don’t enjoy spending an hour or two at the gym.

You may like doing that, but it isn’t for me.

When I go to the gym I go in and conquer then leave.

My current workout routine is 3-4 times a week.

When losing weight you should focus on intense workouts.

You need to be sweating.

I like full body workouts as it gets me sweating and feeling great.

If you want to do specific muscle groups that is fine.

Just focus on intensity and sweating.

What Supplements Should I Take

Now that you know the type of foods you should eat and have a good workout plan, let’s talk about supplements.

Supplements just enhance what you are doing.

I only use a few supplements.

Right now I am using the following:

  1. Red Burner
  2. Ashwagandha

I’m the type of person who researches each ingredient on a product before using it.

I am careful about what I put into my body.

A lot of fat burners out there have useless and sometimes dangerous ingredients.

Red Burner has everything that you should have in a fat burner.

I use Ashwaganda to help keep my Cortisol levels down.

Having high levels of Cortisol can make it harder to lose weight.

You have your diet.

You have a workout plan.

Are there any other things that you can do to lose weight and feel great?

The answer to that is YES!

Here are a few things you can do also:

  • Sleep Well
  • Intermediate Fasting
  • Intense Sex

Sleep Well-

You would be surprised how good sleep is for your body.

I can’t say that I get 8 hours a day, but I sleep well.

I generally sleep 4-6 hours a day.

Anything more than that and I feel off the next day.

I follow a set routine that I do every night and morning.

By following a set routine my body and mind has learned when to start getting tired.

I make sure that everything is done for the day before doing this.

If I don’t then I will not sleep well.

Drinking water is a great way to make sure you stay hydrated while you sleep and wake up feeling great.

Another big thing is sleeping in complete darkness.

I read an article months ago about how your mind picks up on any kind of light while you sleep.

If your mind picks up on any light then it can affect how well you sleep.

Turn off the TV.

Set your alarm on your phone.

Close those eyes.

Intermediate Fasting-

Intermediate Fasting was one of those things I had always heard of but never understood.

It sounded complicated and impractical.

Then one day I saw a notification on Twitter.

From there I stumbled on to an article on Intermediate Fasting.

In that article and from his Free book on IF, I finally understood it.

Intermediate Fasting is great and does wonders.

It has helped me lose weight and think clearly.

I stop eating around 6-8 PM and do not eat again until 11 AM to 1 PM.

Most of my fasting is done while I sleep.

Intense Sex-

Sex is a great way to get in cardio.

Not only does it feel great, but you can lose weight while doing it.

Sex releases hormones and makes you feel amazing.

You can even relieve stress by having regular sex.

Of course you can’t just have a 5 minute round of slow pumping.

Instead, you need to have intense rough sex.

Sex that leaves you drenched in sweat and chairs turned over.

As you can see it is easy to lose weight and feel great.

Good Diet + Working Out + Supplements = GREAT RESULTS

Stop letting your excuses keep you from what you want.

Losing weight is simple.

You don’t have to spend hundreds of dollars on programs and useless supplements.

Just combine a good diet, workout plan, and good supplements together.

That is all you need.

Leave the rest of the crap for average mortals.

  1. If you want to write a blog, then great. I wish you all the best. However, I would recommend not writing about something you clearly have no idea about. At your body fat level, you should not even be considering red burner at this point in time. At your level, you should be changing your eating habits completely until you become lean. Once your are ALREADY lean is when it’s appropriate to use a fat burner to get that extra edge. A fat burner isn’t used to go from a beer gut to abs, that is diet. A fat burner isn’t necessary at all.

  2. All I can say is damn bro! That is a big difference. It took balls to put those pics up. What would you recommend I do if I’m 17 and still in HS?

    • I just want to show people that it’s easy.

      If you are 17 an in HS, I’d recommend you hit the gym as much as you can (3-5 per week) and eat well. Stay away from drinking all of the time and DO NOT SMOKE cigarettes. If you smoke weed make sure to not do it that much. Weed will take away your motivation and make you lazy. At least that was my experience.

      I’m glad to see you are young and taking action. Keep it up.

  3. This reads like a marketing ploy for RED Supplements rather than anything else of use. Unfortunate as now I’m going to have a hard time reading anything else on your site.

    • I lost weight and talked about how I did it. If you actually read the article I talked about how you don’t even need supplements.

      You are free to do whatever you like. If you don’t read my site that’s cool. If you do read my site that’s cool as well.

      • That’s cool and all but there’s nothing new or valuable here that would help me. The only thing that’s different is the RED supplements that is only being used by people who know about TRP.

        Osta-Red and Red-PCT are fairly ambiguous as to what they actually are. I personally trust nothing that I can’t find on examine.com.

        Can you clarify the effects they had on you?

          The effects:
          – Strength increase
          – Noticeable Energy increase
          – Low Libido for first couple weeks then went back to normal
          – Leaned down
          – I seemed to have more endurance when working out

          Anything else you need to know?

          • I’m curious about any side effects really. I will research it either way.

          • As long as you follow the directions, drink plenty of water, and eat well you shouldn’t have to worry about any side-effects. Really just depends on the person. If you are a generally healthy person then you will be fine.

  4. Solid advice! I agree that you should try to maintain a lifestyle that’s enjoyable and consistent. Obviously WOTO is your business, and that’s where you should be getting serious. If you were to make money based on your body, I would say that you should be getting just as serious+ eat Clen and Tren hard lol.

    That said I think everyone owes it to themselves to make the effort to stay healthy. It’s a different feeling being in shape. Your organs are more efficient and your hormones are more stable and you age more slowly. It’s just a better way to be and it’s not hard at all.

    Nice find with Ashwagandha btw it’s also good for protecting against overuse injuries. That means everything from doing hard labor to simple back pains from being at the computer all day. Just get on it lol. You’ll be glad you did when you hit 50.

    I’ve been a gym rat for the past decade doing everything from bodybuilding to training for athletics to powerlifting and I can say that your advice is all spot on and practical. It’s the fundamentals that matter most in everything.
